In reading we have been working on monitoring our comprehension as we read.
Students who are good at monitoring their comprehension know when
they understand what they read and when they do not. We worked this week on keeping track of our inner voice as we read by writing sticky notes about our thinking. On Friday we read Teammates about Jackie Robinson's struggle to be the first Africa American in Major League Baseball. While reading we made notes of our connections and our thinking. Last we used the iPad to draw a picture of our connection.
